Technologies themselves are not the goal; they serve as the means to ensure that the business vision is realised with the greatest possible outcome for all users. We help our clients with complex business and technical transformations in the field of financial services, automotive or e-gaming. We stand by their side from the stage of definition of their new product or service design, through strategy elaboration and processing, to the actual implementation. For instance, we have helped a large international company establish a new bank – from beginning to end. What helps us to achieve that is our own methodology called BXT, which lays great emphasis on interconnecting user experience with technologies and the business itself.

Financial Crime

We protect our clients against financial crime

Money laundering, financing of terrorism, breach of sanctions, fraud, corruption, tunnelling. That’s the world of financial crime against which our Financial Crime team fights. We work on projects all over the world and accumulate our strong know-how that way. Why does the Prague team work all over Europe, South-East Asia, Middle East, Australia or South Africa? We create a unique connection between the detailed know-how, concerning the prevention and control of financial crime, and technologies and data analytics. Most frequently, we deal with regulatory issues, investigation, process setting, testing and alignment of monitoring systems. We are also involved in the development of machine learning and other models serving for the purpose of detection and prevention of financial crime. We develop our own applications, use advance analytics and process big data. Our clients include financial institutions as well as governmental authorities and investigation bodies in countries where financial crime constitutes a structural issue.

Financial Risk Modelling a Data&AI

From risk management modelling to artificial intelligence

Our Financial Risk Modelling (FRM) teams help our clients in the area of credit and market risk, whether it involves the IFRS 9 model validation or portfolio monitoring. We are not an isolated unit – within PwC, besides other teams, we cooperate with the Application Development team whom we assist in the development of tools for the automation of quantitative risk management processes at companies. Our clients include mid-sized and large financial institutions and banks from the USA to Mongolia; you will thus be able to truly broaden your horizons.

Data Science teams represent an opportunity for those interested in advanced data analysis and prediction models. The thing is, we help improve our clients performance, respond to changes in a flexible way and grow their business. In order to do that, we use our broad knowledge of data analytics as well as business intelligence, data management or data assurance. You will get the chance to develop your skills in the area you are most interested in, whether it involves working with big data, machine learning or responsive artificial intelligence. Application Development

We guide clients through digitalisation

Application Development is a young technology hub providing services to our entire company with dozens of successful projects completed. Our solutions help clients in the Czech Republic as well as abroad and we often cooperate even on internal PwC projects – for instance, we help the Financial Crime team with application development. Our agenda is diverse; our team consists of UX designers, software developers, testers or software architects. We develop applications starting from the initial UX research through design, prototyping, development, testing to the actual solution and evaluation. Thanks to that, we can provide our clients with comprehensive support and you will be able to participate in creating unique solutions from the first draft to the implementation.
