Rick Lamanna is a Senior Manager in the Immigration Practice at PwC Law LLP, responsible for the Calgary office.
Certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Citizenship and Immigration Law, Rick has extensive experience in providing immigration advice and assistance to businesses from a wide range of industry sectors, including information technology, engineering, banking and financial services, manufacturing, retail, education, oil and gas and professional services.
Rick works with Human Resource professionals and mobility teams, providing guidance on policies and procedures related to various immigration matters. He also has significant experience interacting with inland processing offices, Canadian Ports of Entry, Canadian Consulate Generals, High Commissions and embassies abroad.
Rick graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Bishop's University in Lennoxville, Quebec. He earned his Bachelor of Laws from The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario during which time he studied abroad at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Law Society of Alberta and the Immigration and Citizenship section of the Canadian Bar Association.
Outside of work, Rick enjoys skiing. He is also an avid soccer fan and player, having participated twice at Mundiavocat: the World Cup of Football (Soccer) for Lawyers.
