Jean-Guy Senécal is a partner with the Audit and Assurance Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Montreal office. His industry focus is on pulp and paper, consumer goods, engineering and utilities. He has considerable experience serving large, complex, multinational public companies. He has worked extensively with senior executives and board members on many governance issues.
Jean-Guy graduated from McGill University where he obtained a bachelor degree in Commerce (Finance and Accounting). He then obtained his CA designation in 1984. From 1982 to 1996, he was a member of the CICA task force on Auditors’ Communication with Regulators.
Jean-Guy serves the community in many ways, and is dedicated to social and community life. He serves as Treasurer of the Canadian Club of Montreal, he is on the Executive Committee of the Quebec Chapter of the Institute of Corporate Directors, and is Vice-President of the Orford Racing Ski Team. In 2010, Jean-Guy received the much-coveted FCA title (Fellow of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec) in recognition of his outstanding services rendered to the profession.
