National Tax Client Experience Leader, PwC Canada
Carl Oxholm is a partner in the Tax Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Mississauga office.
The majority of his clients are Canadian subsidiaries of multinationals that require help with tax planning. Carl’s primary focus involves bringing PwC services (across all areas of tax) to his clients, most of which are in the Consumer Industrial Products and Services industries. He also leads the firm’s coaching initiatives for PwC Canada and previously led training in relation to the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls over tax functions in major public companies.
Carl obtained his Bcom from the University of Toronto as well as his CA designation. He also completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-depth Tax Course in 1996 and helped instruct the course for five years.
Due to his familiarity with SOX, Carl has also been a keynote speaker at many Federated Press conferences. He is the champion for the PwC Charitable Foundation in the Mississauga office and was recently the chair for the United Way of Peel Region's Campaign Cabinet — where he still remains a member. Carl has also chaired numerous committees in the non-profit sector and within the Mississauga office itself.
