The PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada Foundation Leadership Grants Program provides funding for professional development opportunities for staff and volunteers who work at small- to medium-registered charitable organizations in Canada. Since the program's launch in 2006, the PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada Foundation has awarded over $1.8 million in grants to over 500 recipients.
Grants are available in two categories through a request for proposal period in the fall of each year:
All individual leadership grant applicants or beneficiaries proposed as part of the team grant application must be a current employee or volunteer at a registered Canadian charitable organization and have an official endorsement to apply from the charity's executive director.
Priority will be given to applicants from charitable organizations or charities with an annual budget under $1 million or who work with a charity with a limited ability to support the development of their staff and volunteers.
Team leadership grant applicants must direct funding at an activity where all proposed beneficiaries work together to help enhance the overall effectiveness of the team. The grant cannot be used to fund portions of personal development opportunities, only portions of costs associated with an event involving the entire team.
A charity may apply for one grant each year.
To promote continuous improvement and to better align our objective of strengthening and empowering communities, the PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada Foundation is currently undergoing a strategic review of the Leadership Grants Program.
At this time, the PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada Foundation is not accepting Leadership Grant applications.
