The Promoting Better Tax Compliance project funded by the UK Good Governance Fund (GGF) was concluded on 22 November 2019 with a presentation about electronic tax guidelines on value added tax (VAT), profit tax, turnover tax, transfer pricing regulations and model transactions.
The project’s goal is to increase the transparency of tax administration, as well as enhance the ability of taxpayers to comply with tax legislation and reduce the number of tax disputes and related administrative costs.
The project’s counterparts include the Armenian Ministry of Finance and State Revenue Committee.
Opening remarks were delivered by Michael Ahern (PwC partner), Alison Chick (Chargé d'Affaires of the British Embassy in Yerevan), Arman Poghosyan (Deputy Minister of Finance of Armenia) and Artur Manukyan (Deputy Chairman of the SRC).
