Winter School/Spring School
The Winter School Workshop programme is run by PricewaterhouseCoopers and is aimed at Grade 12 scholars who are serious about pursuing a career as a Chartered Accountant.
- The Accounting workshop is a two day programme and is filled with exciting presentations, team building activities and information sessions. Grade 12 learners get the opportunity to gain more information about the accounting profession from the perspective of University as well as PricewaterhouseCoopers.
- Students are chosen for the Accounting workshop by their teachers and cannot apply for the programme. Students are chosen based on their maths and accounting marks. The focus is however more on the maths marks.
- We have established a relationship with more than 70 schools through the Winter Accounting workshop. Each school can nominate three students to be a part of the workshop.
The Accounting workshop is a great experience for the learners as it gives them the opportunity to meet new people and gain more insight into the Chartered Accountant career to help them make an informative decision about their future careers.
The Accounting workshop has been a great success over the last few years. Each year a number of the students that come for the programme apply for bursaries and are successful in securing bursaries or training contracts with us.
This Workshop is currently run in the Sunninghill and Menlyn offices.
