On 22 June 2012, PwC Vietnam co-sponsored the Hanoi Supply Chain Conference 2012, which was organised by the Vietnam Supply Chain Community. This conference provides the latest information, insights, trends and best practices in Sourcing, Manufacturing, Retail & Distribution in the Northern region of Vietnam. It attracted speakers from large organisations and companies like World Bank, GHK, Cai Lan International Container Terminal, Duane Morris, etc.
Edward Chien, Director of Advisory Services, PwC Vietnam, reprensented the firm to give a speech at the conference. He shared some of thoughts on how an organisation can reduce leakages through a Fraud Prevention programmes. According to him, leakages in the supply chain only increases the cost of operations.
