Workshop on Enhancing business engagement in promoting business integrity in Vietnam
Jamie Meacham, Procurement Services of PwC Vietnam, will deliver a speech on "Mitigating corruption risks in supply-chains" at this Workshop. Businesses are exposed to corruption risks in the supply chain on a daily basis, and increasingly recognize the associated costs and risks. It is important for all businesses to work together to tackle this problem. What can be done to address corruption in the supply chain?
The Anti-corruption Dialogue (ACD) between the Government of Vietnam and the international development community was established in 2007. This year’s ACD in November 2013, will focus on the role of businesses in anti-corruption.
The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Government Inspectorate (GI) and the British Embassy in Hanoi jointly organise this workshop to gather the views of business which will be used to: (a) input into the 12th ACD; and (b) inform future engagement with the business community and help to collectively identify practical solutions to tackle corruption in business in Vietnam.
