Manager, Business Restructuring Services (BRS)

Job Description

With the support of experienced professionals across our Southeast Asia Peninsula (SEAPEN) region, this new role will lead our initiative in developing a Business Restructuring Services (BRS) group across Vietnam. The BRS group will be established to provide corporate recovery, restructuring and insolvency services to stakeholders of under-performing businesses. The role will be suitable for a team leader who thrives in a challenging environment and has the capabilities to develop a new business.

    Responsibilities include:
  • Leading and developing a Business Restructuring Services group for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Vietnam
  • Developing detailed business plans, reports and analysis for management review
  • Handling a full spectrum of complex issues that arises in restructurings
  • Keeping abreast with the global as well as Vietnam’s economic situation and understanding the challenges in the domestic/international markets
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders e.g. lawyers, commercial banks, the corporate sector and regulators
  • Building a team of experienced professionals, which includes on-the-job coaching and structured training.

Job Requirement Essential

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, exhibit a strong client service attitude and has the ability to think logically and work independently.

    Other key attributes:
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse a business effectively and has a good grasp of profits and cash flows
  • Ability to prepare financial models and projections efficiently, demonstrating an understanding of various stakeholders' interests
  • Basic understanding of legal framework
  • Good presentation skills with the ability to articulate concepts and proposals with clarity
  • Ability to facilitate a negotiated settlement
  • Strong multi-cultural awareness with the ability to work in a diverse environment
  • Good project management skills, with a "hands-on" approach
  • Has a keen interest in leading and coaching new team members
  • Experience in mergers & acquisition projects is advantageous
