| PricewaterhouseCoopers Vietnam has received a Golden Dragon Award! The Golden Dragon Competition is co-organised annually by the Vietnam Economic Times and the Foreign Investment Department under the Ministry of Planning and Investment. The Vietnam Economic Times magazine is one of the country’s leading economic publications. Launched in 1992, it is now published in four different versions, and distributed in Europe, Asia and America. All versions poll their readers annually to select the best companies from 10 industries.
This year marks the first time that PwC participated in the Golden Dragon Competition as a candidate. PwC has been awarded a prestigious prize - given only to firms which make a notable contribution to foreign-invested businesses in Vietnam - for its contribution to the development of the local economy. Winners of the annual Golden Dragon Awards are selected based on votes by readers of the Vietnam Economic Times and the organising board, under stringent criteria. The board consists of leaders from key public agencies such as the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Finance, the State Bank of Vietnam, the Union of Vietnam Scientific and Technological Associations, and the Vietnam Economic Times. |
