Increase of Minimum Monthly Wage
Presidential Decree #УП-4332 of 7 July 2011 increases the Minimum Monthly Wage (MMW) by 15%. As of 1 August 2011, the MMW will amount to Uzbek Soum 57,200 (approx. USD 33). The current MMW is Uzbek Soum 49,735 (approx. USD 29).
Introduction of new tax reporting forms
Resolution of the Ministry of Finance and the State Tax Committee registered with the Ministry of Justice under #1760-1 of 30 May 2011 introduced amendments to the Resolution “On establishment of tax reporting forms” registered with the Ministry of Justice under #1760 of 21 January 2008, according to which reporting forms on most taxes and mandatory payments were changed and amended.
