Christine Turgeon is a partner in the Federal Tax Services group of the Washington National Tax Services (WNTS) practice and Leader of the Inventory Services Group. In this role, Ms. Turgeon focuses on advising clients on tax accounting methods and planning opportunities — including analyzing the impact of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) on accounting methods.
Prior to rejoining PwC as a partner in 2002, Ms. Turgeon served four years as Senior Tax Law Specialist in the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Tax Policy. She worked extensively with the Joint Committee on Taxation and the IRS Offices of Chief Counsel and Division Counsel on matters of tax accounting method policy. A certified public accountant, Ms. Turgeon received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Baylor University and master’s in taxation from American University.
