Tom Solazzo is a Principal in the Irvine, California office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and is the National Leader of the firm’s Cleantech Practice. Tom also leads PwC’s Management Consulting group in the Power & Utilities Sector.
With over 25 years of management consulting experience, Tom has worked closely with companies of all sizes, from venture start-ups to multi-billion dollar Fortune 100 companies. His area of focus is helping clients define operational strategies and improve company performance.
Tom spent many years in the Technology and Communications industries, where he played pivotal roles in the development and deployment of new digital products and standards. In the Power & Utilities and Cleantech industries, Tom has assisted clients with product and service innovation, energy efficiency and demand response, regulatory and legal matters, smart grid strategy, and product and service deployment.
In addition to client work, Tom has spoken at conferences on a variety of topics including Smart Grid Strategy, Home Area Networking, and Energy Storage. He also works closely with several charitable organizations. Tom is the founding sponsor of an Acres of Love home for orphaned and abandoned children in South Africa, a Foundation and Philanthropy Circle Member of Mission Hospital of Orange County, and the recipient of the Man of Character Award from the Boy Scouts of America.
Tom received both his Bachelor’s degree and his Master’s degree from Stanford University in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management.
