Guillaume is a director on our French tax desk in New York. He joined our New York office in October 2007 from PwC’s associated law firm, Landwell & Associés, in Paris. Earlier, he worked for the tax team of an international law firm in Paris. Guillaume has extensive experience advising US and international companies on the French tax aspects of various inbound and outbound transactions. He has worked on a variety of domestic and international transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, spinoffs, reorganizations and structured financings. He has regularly counseled financial institutions and investment funds concerning their financial instruments, derivatives and fund structuring, planning and compliance.
Guillaume holds a master of law degree from Duke University School of Law, a master’s in corporate law and taxation from the University of Paris IX-Dauphine, and a master’s in tax and public finance from the University of Paris II-Assas. He is a member of the Paris Bar Association.
