Dave Sohn is a PwC tax partner based in New York with 28 years of experience in advising multinational corporations on complex issues. He is currently serving some of our firm's largest clients and has significant inbound U.S. tax expertise.
He spent most of his career as an international tax services partner. In addition to his tax expertise, Dave was the leader of the Private Client Services tax practice in Southern California and served as the lead relationship and engagement partner on many U.S. and foreign companies with operations in the U.S. He has worked with many companies (public and private) from the U.S., Asia and Europe and has led to significant tax savings to his clients. He is currently the leader of the Korean Business Network practice in the U.S. and serves many of the Korean conglomerates with operations in the U.S.
Dave was the first tax partner in the US firm to serve a tour of duty in Seoul, Korea (1997-2002). He was voted as one of the best tax advisors in Korea during this period by International Tax Review.
Dave has worked with many transactions on a cross border basis and has significant experience with international tax planning, tax compliance, mergers and acquisitions, defending tax audits and tax controversies and transfer pricing.
