California requires disclosure for like-kind exchanges of out-of-state property

Enacted on June 27, 2013, A.B. 92 requires any taxpayer acquiring out-of-state property in a like-kind exchange of in-state property to file an informational return with the Franchise Tax Board. The law applies to exchanges occurring in tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2014.
