Enterprise Performance Management Leader,
Tim is San Francisco-based senior principal who currently leads a national team of specialists in the Enterprise Performance Management line of service within PwC’s Risk Assurance practice with particular emphasis of information technology and operational risks. Tim’s team supports clients in the control and risk management of financial reporting technologies and processes. Tim’s project experience includes information technology consulting, business process improvement, risk management consulting, data management, systems integration and strategy, Sarbanes-Oxley and regulatory compliance.
Tim has managed the Sarbanes-Oxley readiness of two Fortune 50 companies and the selection and implementation of investment risk management applications for a major public pension fund. He has guided projects performing the strategic assessment of an IT organization’s financial and operational applications and infrastructure, and the strategic assessment and organizational design of the information security function of a major brokerage firm. He has directed projects in the implementation of the Hyperion Financial Management application for selected retail and high technology clients and a business intelligence platform for a major retailer. He has also conducted a customer relationship management assessment and reengineering of the mutual fund transaction processing for an investment management firm which led to the conversion of back-office support between service providers, and the development of an internet-based trading application.
With more than twenty-eight years of experience in the risk management, Tim has held a variety of practice leadership roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He was the West Region leader and the National Development leader for the Systems and Process Assurance group. He has also served as the West Region leader for the Product and Services Industries practice within the Advisory line of service. Tim generally works with large multinational clients in the investment management and retail sectors.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bentley University and has participated in executive training sessions at both Dartmouth College and INSEAD.
Tim resides in Walnut Creek, California with his family where he has coached youth league soccer.
