Tim Carless is a Detroit-based partner focusing on PwC's Internal Audit practice and Financial Services Industry clients. Tim has a long history identifying and implementing process improvements to increase operational efficiency as well as developing corporate governance processes, such as those involving Audit Committee and Board interactions. He has also been responsible for identifying and implementing process improvement strategies to increase operational efficiency.
He also held a leadership role in the redesign of global audit standards and a risk-based planning approach for Corporate Audit.
Tim is a CPA, licensed in the State of Michigan, and is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Institute of Internal Accountants. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. Tim is a Board Member & Treasurer for Community Legal Resources and an Audit Committee Member for the Children’s Center of Wayne County.
