US and Asia-Pacific Americas Cluster Risk Assurance Strategy Leader
Scott Greenfield is a New York-based partner in PwC’s Risk Assurance Services Practice and currently leads our national Information Technology & Project Assurance (IT&PA) practice where he builds teams to help companies assess and address IT risk and governance issues. Prior to this role, Scott served as the US Sector Leader for Risk Assurance.
Scott advises clients on effectively steering through complex IT risk management and compliance requirements, as well as fully maximizing the value derived from their strategic initiatives in technology implementation (including pre- and post-implementation reviews), information security, privacy and delivery and process automation and control optimization. He analyzes the risk-benefit balance in removing business-critical information and infrastructure from management’s direct control. Scott’s insights on the design and effectiveness of controls over new technologies and processes help clients adapt to a fluid business and regulatory environment, optimize those business processes, and develop and implement solutions to drive efficiency and understand risk. Scott leverages over 25 years of experience in counseling clients with internal risk and controls, IT governance, and regulatory compliance challenges in variable technology environments, including integrated ERP systems.
For over a decade Scott has focused his practice on a global approach to third party assurance matters in the technology and outsourcing sectors of the market (including the emerging markets of India and Eastern Europe).
Scott has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University with a specialization in Accounting and Information Systems. He resides with his wife and two children in the New York area.
