Brian leads PwC's Risk Assurance Innovation team responsible for identifying and bring new services and solutions to market. He is also responsible for the firm's Internal Audit Performance Improvement services and developing the firm's internal audit thought leadership, methodologies and tools.
As an internal audit practitioner, Brian has provided internal and IT audit services to clients for the past 20 years. He has led numerous internal audit Quality Assurance Reviews, consulting assignments as well as designing and implementing global internal audit programs.
For a number of other clients he has served in the role of chief audit executive in reporting to executive management and audit committees. Brian worked and lived overseas for more than 12 years, in Singapore and Saudi Arabia. During his career, Brian has served clients in external, internal and IT audit roles, as well as leading management consulting engagements.
Brian developed and led our internal audit practice in Asia from 1994 to 2000, and from 2002 to 2009 served as our West Region Internal Audit practice leader.
Brian has also authored and lectured extensively on corporate governance, enterprise risk management and internal audit. He also co-authored related PwC thought leadership pieces, Transforming Internal Audit: The Quest for Real Strategic Value, Maximizing Internal Audit, 2010-2014 State of the Internal Audit Profession Survey's.
