The 2012 Financial Performance Report, Profitable Growth: Driving the Demand Chain, provides financial benchmarking results for 142 food, beverage and consumer products industry manufacturers, as well as for 67 retailers, and provides ten distinct articles on the demand chain where manufacturers agree that focus is needed and where significant future investment will be required.

The report, developed jointly by PwC and the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA), explores how leading organizations are enabling the demand chain, exploring new paths for the consumer shopping journey, pursuing growth overseas - through consumer-centric strategies, digital tools, product and service innovation and how some are handling the operational hurdles of global expansion.
