PwC Texas Contract for Cloud Assessment Services

On November 5, 2014, PwC was awarded a contract to provide Cloud assessment services to Texas agencies and other state entities as part of the Texas Department of Information Resources’ (DIR) Cooperative Contracts program. PwC maintains offices in Austin, Dallas and Houston, and we are continually engaged in projects serving Texas institutions and companies across the entire state. Risk assessment Identification of risks associated with moving applications and data to the Cloud
Cost/benefit analysis Cost of hosting data in-house or in a type of Cloud environment
High level cloud requirements Technological requirements that will be required if moving data from an in-house environment to the Cloud
Best candidates to move to the cloud Identification of best applications and/or data sets to review for the move to the Cloud
Cloud services solutions Side-by-side comparison showing how multiple cloud service providers’ solutions will map to specific requirements
Architecture planning proposal Describes one or more approaches to moving recommended applications to the cloud
Strategy and roadmap developmen Overall recommendations and strategies of how/if to proceed to moving to the Cloud

The price for each Cloud Assessment will be determined based upon a pre-engagement meeting with the customer to determine the scope of the assessment.

To order services, complete a Statement of Work (SOW) in the form contained in Appendix D. Please contact either Lawrence Hanrahan or Urooj Burney for more information on your requirements and to work through the process of generating an SOW to meet your specific needs.

Note that PwC may begin work only after receiving both an SOW signed by authorized representatives of both the customer and PwC – and the Purchase Order.
