Development National Leader
Mark Borden is the US Private Company Services Sales & Business Development Leader. He is a tax partner in Houston, with numerous years of experience serving a broad base of clients in the manufacturing, retail, and energy industries. Mark has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation, partnerships and S corporations, and consolidated return issues. Mark serves numerous private equity portfolio companies and has experience with the issues surrounding private equity investments, including structuring, compensation, and exit strategies.
Mark worked in the Birmingham, Alabama office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for ten years prior to transferring to the Houston office in 2002. Mark functions as the tax leader of the Houston PCS practice, and before he took on Sales & Business Development, he served as the national tax quality and risk management partner for PCS.
Mark is active on the board of Avondale House, a non profit in the Houston community serving children with autism. Mark has a B.S. in Accounting and a Masters in Taxation from the University of Alabama.
