Veteran Audit Professional Mark Nichols Joins Growing Practice
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, October 7, 2013 – PwC US announced today that Mark Nichols joined the professional services firm’s Salt Lake City office as an assurance partner. Nichols brings almost 20 years of audit experience to the practice. He specializes in providing audit and other attest services to public and private companies in the consumer, industrial products and energy sectors.

In addition to his extensive accounting background, Nichols is passionate about giving back to the local community. He has been involved with the Special Olympics Utah for the past 12 years, including serving on as Board of Directors from 2000 to 2007.
Nichols is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in the state of Utah and is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Utah Association of CPAs. He has served as a Technical Advisor to the AICPA Auditing Standards Board for three years, most recently in 2011.
Nichols received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University.
