PwC's Patricia Etzold Recognized for Exceptional Client Service by Consulting Magazine

PwC's securities litigation specialist honored with “Women Leaders in Consulting” award


NEW YORK, October 15, 2012PwC US today announced that Patricia Etzold, a partner in the firm's U.S. Forensic Services practice, has received Consulting magazine’s “Women Leaders in Consulting” award for her outstanding achievements in client service.  Each year, Consulting magazine bestows this honor on ten industry standouts and rising stars who have made a mark within the consulting profession.  PwC's Etzold will be publically recognized for her award in the Client Service category at the sixth annual Women Leaders in Consulting Gala Awards Dinner on November 8th at The St. Regis hotel in New York.

At PwC, Etzold leads the securities litigation practice and is a co-editor of the firm’s annual study on the topic.  With over 30 years of accounting and global business experience, she serves a broad range of clients, including boards of directors, audit committees, and internal and external counsels of multi-national companies.  Among notable accomplishments over the course of her career, Etzold has worked alongside the U.S. Department of Justice in its prosecution of fraudulent matters and has assisted numerous companies’ counsels in response to Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Justice inquiries.

Etzold is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and New Jersey and is certified in financial forensics by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).  She is PwC’s Partner Chair for the Women’s Network in New York, PwC’s Partner Chair for the Advisory Women’s Group in New York, and PwC’s Partner Chair for Forensics Women.  A graduate from King’s College, Etzold also serves as Vice Chair for the AICPA Volunteer Judiciary Sub-Committee and is a current member of the Board of Trustees at Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, NJ.
