Peter Merrill, former chief economist of the Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation, leads this group of highly credentialed economists and statisticians who combine real-world experience with extensive knowledge of the government sector to provide comprehensive and authoritative analysis and advice to our clients.

NES economists and statisticians have served on the staffs of the Joint Committee on Taxation, the Congressional Budget Office, the Department of the Treasury, the US Census Bureau, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Internal Revenue Service.
