ITB 12-17: West Virginia enacts captive insurance legislation

On March 30, 2012, West Virginia Governor, Earl Ray Tomblin, approved legislation (H.B. 4256) to amend provisions of the Code of West Virginia relating to captive insurance companies, to make risk retention groups subject to certain risk limitations and to require all captive insurance companies to provide notice of certain changes in information.
