PwC has created a Nursing-specific survey that can be used by healthcare organizations striving for Magnet designation. Magnet recognition is an organizational credential awarded to exceptional healthcare organizations that meet the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) standards for quality patient care, nursing excellence, and innovations in professional nursing. Magnet designation is the ultimate distinction for high quality nursing.
Recent changes in the Magnet application process require healthcare organizations to gather more survey data from their nursing population. PwC worked with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to ensure that our 30 question Nursing-specific survey met those requirements in an efficient and easy-to-administer fashion. PwC received approval from the ANCC that the questionnaire satisfies the current Magnet requirements.
The survey includes questions that address all seven Magnet required categories, including:
Only 7% of US Hospitals are Magnet recognized according to the ANCC
PwC’s Nursing-specific survey can be included as a special section within a full employee engagement survey, or can be administered independently at any other time. Even for healthcare organizations that are not currently looking at Magnet designation, the Nursing-specific questions can identify feedback on nursing-specific topics that go beyond the standard employee engagement survey.
Please feel free to contact the Senior Magnet Program Analyst in your region to inquire about PwC. These individuals are listed on ANCC’s website.
