Sustainability Accounting Standards Board's (SASB): Energy and mining update

On January 21, 2014, the SASB released exposure drafts of Sustainability Accounting Standards for seven industries within the energy (oil and gas) and mining sector. The Sustainability Accounting Standards are designed to guide companies in identifying material non-financial information to be included in the MD&A section of the Form 10-K and 20-F in order to comply with existing regulation.
