This webcast explores the SEC's final rule on conflict minerals, issued August 22, 2012, pursuant to Dodd-Frank Section 1502. The rule describes the due diligence and reporting requirements for SEC issuers whose products contain conflict minerals. These minerals – tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold – are used in a wide range of products across numerous industries, and some estimates suggest that at least half of all SEC issuers will be impacted by this rule.
