PwC invites you to attend the 2014 Key considerations for board and audit committees series, specifically designed for directors of large companies.
As in prior years, PwC’s top firm, SEC, financial reporting and policy leaders will address topics important to boards and audit committees.
This year’s agenda has an interactive “real-life” simulation of the discussion that ensues when a security breach happens at a company. You won’t want to miss this informative session.
The program will also include Troy Paredes, former SEC Commissioner, a current PCAOB member, and John White from Cravath, Swaine and Moore LLP, to give an external perspective of the current regulatory environment and key priorities of the SEC and PCAOB.
There will be an in-depth discussion of the new revenue recognition standard and its broad implications. Current governance trends and topics, including shareholder activism and board renewal, and their impact on boardroom agendas will also be addressed.
The program kicks off with a director panel and peer exchange session, the afternoon before the business program, to give directors the opportunity to discuss key issues and share insights with their peers.
