John Eilers
US Engineering & Construction Assurance Leader, PwC US
John is an assurance partner in the San Francisco office and also serves as the US Engineering & Construction Assurance Leader, the Market Team Leader for San Francisco’s CIPS audit team, and the Industrial Products sector’s client experience program lead.
John has spent the majority of his career working on large multinational clients in the engineering and construction, technology, and entertainment and media industries. He started his career and made partner in San Francisco, and then worked in the firm's Tokyo and New York offices before returning to San Francisco.
He has been involved with numerous public offerings, acquisitions, and divestitures, including the carve-out and spin-off/IPO of Agilent Technologies from Hewlett-Packard, the carve-out and sale of IBM’s computer business to Lenovo, and the acquisition of EMI Music Publishing by a consortium led by Sony, among other significant transactions. John also has significant experience in Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls implementations, assessments and remediation efforts, SEC reporting and disclosure, joint venture structuring and accounting, and tax matters.
John graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor in Business Administration. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California and New York Societies of Certified Public Accountants.
