Training

A solid foundation

Over the course of your internship, you’ll receive training designed to grow your technical and professional skills. The physical and virtual classrooms, however, are only the beginning of your learning. On-the-job experiences and coaching are all part of your career development. The only limit to what you can learn is the extent of your curiosity. In the first week of your internship, you’ll receive training in what it means to be a PwC intern, from the technical skills you’ll need to assist client engagement teams to soft skills such as professional communication etiquette. The goal of this training is to prepare you for the real work you’ll be doing when you begin with your team.

Client team experiences

Real work on real clients

At PwC, we’re in the client service business. When you intern with us, you will be in the business. All the work you do will have an impact, whether it goes into a final audit report, completes a tax return, or helps PwC better serve its clients. We hear from many of our interns that they didn’t expect to be given the kind of work that they performed. You’ll experience challenging and relevant work on interesting client engagements where you’ll team directly with PwC partners, principals, and staff. You will experience a realistic job preview, learning exactly what you’ll need to know to succeed in your career.

Coaching & development

Focused on you

Coaching is an ongoing conversation between you and a PwC professional that focuses exclusively on your development: planning your career path, enhancing your skill set, and helping you achieve a higher level of performance. In addition to your human resources manager, you’ll be assigned three coaches to help accelerate your career: a relationship partner, a career coach, and an associate coach. Each coach has a different level of experience with PwC, so each can give you a different perspective on what you need to do today to get where you want to go tomorrow.
