Introduction
The PwC Talent Network is an offering of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the US firm of the PricewaterhouseCoopers global network of firms.
PwC is strongly committed to protecting your personal information. This privacy statement explains how we treat your personal information when you use this site. By using this site and submitting any personal information, you agree to the terms of this statement.

What information is collected?
We collect personal information that is voluntarily provided by you in order for you to be a part of the PwC Talent Network, and be updated on career related opportunities and other information of your choosing. By completing a Talent Network Form, you will be able to provide us with personal information, such as name, job title, and company name, address, email address, and telephone, and to submit your resume to our US recruiters if you choose. This provides us with a means to keep in touch with you; and deliver content to help you learn more about our firm. In any instance where mandatory information is sought, you will be notified of this at the point of collection. Personal information may be collected about you either:

i. Directly from you. Where you are asked to provide such data when you create a Talent Network Form or respond to other information requests; or

ii. Indirectly, such as through the use of cookies (as described below), to track your use of certain pages of the website (e.g., your internet protocol address), or other technical means to monitor your use of the site.

PwC does not intend to collect sensitive personal information about you through this site. Sensitive personal information includes a number of types of data relating to: race or ethnic origin; political opinions; religious or other similar beliefs; trade union membership; physical or mental health; sexual life or criminal record.

If you provide sensitive personal information to PwC through this site, you do so voluntarily and PwC accepts your consent for us to collect, store and use your sensitive personal information in the same ways as other personal information we collect.

How will my data be used?
The primary purpose(s) for which PwC collects your personal information within our SmashFly site and for which PwC may use it is to identify and contact prospects for potential employment at PwC. We will also use the information to search for opportunities that may be suited for you and to send you information related to recruitment activities and/or career information. You may also be sent recruitment marketing materials.

Other purposes for which PwC may use your personal information are to contact you with information about PwC's business, services and events, and other information which may be of interest to you. If you do not want us to use information we collect about you through your participation in the PwC Talent Network to provide you with information about our services, you can opt out of receiving these communications by using the “unsubscribe” link in our communication to you, filling out the unsubscribe form, or directly requesting to be excluded to a PwC recruiter that you have contact with. PwC may also use your information in order to administer and manage the site or communicate with you about the site.

PwC does not intend to collect or compile personal information for dissemination or sale to outside parties for consumer marketing purposes, or host mailings on behalf of third parties.

Are cookies used on the site or within the Talent Network Forms?
Cookies may be used on some pages of this site or in any applicable Talent Network Forms. “Cookies” are small text files placed on your device that assist us in providing a more customized website experience. For example, a cookie can be used to store registration information in an area of the site so that a user does not need to re-enter it on subsequent visits to that area. It is PwC’s policy to use cookies to make navigation of our websites easier for visitors and to facilitate efficient registration procedures. Site statistics are compiled by third parties and therefore your IP address will be passed to third parties for statistical reporting only.

Who has access to my data?

How is my data retained and updated?
PwC is committed to providing reasonable and practical access to users to allow them the opportunity to identify and correct the accuracy of personal information previously submitted to PwC. When personal information is retained, PwC assumes responsibility for keeping an accurate record of the information once a user has submitted and verified the data. PwC does not assume responsibility for verifying the ongoing accuracy of the content of personal information. When practically possible, if PwC is informed that any personal information collected in the SmashFly system is no longer accurate, PwC will make appropriate corrections based on the updated information that you provide.

How is my data retained?
PwC will retain your personal information for as long as is required for any of the purposes described above, or longer if required by applicable law or regulation. Contact information about visitors such as mailing list information is kept until a user unsubscribes to a publication or requests that we delete that information.

How is my data secured?
PwC has put in place appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse or destruction, including unauthorized, accidental or unlawful disclosure or processing of your personal information. Only authorized personnel are provided access to personal information and these employees have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of this information.

Children
PwC understands the importance of protecting children’s privacy especially in an online environment. The PwC site covered by this privacy statement is not intentionally designed for or directed at children under the age of 13 years. It is PwC’s policy never to knowingly collect or maintain personal information about children under the age of 13.
