Serigne joined PwC as an associate and was promoted to senior associate two and a half years later. Serigne participated in a global mobility assignment to PwC Switzerland in Geneva in the Tax Management and Account Services group, and returned to PwC US to take on high profile clients.

  • Q: How have your professional relationships impacted your career?

    A: My coach and relationship partner have had a tremendous impact on my life. We have an incredible relationship and they guided me through each milestone in my career and even pushed me to achieve when I thought I couldn’t.

  • Q: What did you take away from your global mobility assignment in Geneva?

    A: Going on a global mobility assignment, regardless of your prior experiences, forces you to rebuild your reputation from scratch. The reason you gain the trust and friendship of new colleagues is through the quality of the work you deliver. Going to Geneva helped me better understand how to market myself and my personal brand.

  • Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of the office?

    A: I play in a weekly soccer league, and our time in Switzerland has instilled a love of soccer in my son as well. I enjoy being active with my son and I recently taught him to ride a bike as he enjoyed watching people on bicycles all over Geneva.
