In 2007, Elise participated in Elevate in Atlanta as a sophomore in college, and subsequently interned the next summer in the Banking and Capital Markets Audit Group. She joined PwC full-time in 2009 within the same group, and was recently promoted to senior associate. After a vacation for her wedding and honeymoon, she returned as a Financial Services Institute Research Analyst to participate in a four-month rotation program.

  • Q: How have the professional relationships you have built influenced your career?

    A: My success at PwC can be attributed to the professional relationships I have cultivated. I have maintained contact with clients since my internship, and connections new and old have led me to new opportunities with potential clients, and new roles within the firm. I always try to keep in touch with my contacts and keep myself open to new experiences.

  • Q: What do you think has had the biggest impact on your career development to date?

    A: My coach has always been someone I can confide in and talk to, and she can always relate and give me advice. She also keeps her eye out for potential opportunities for me. To have someone that can help guide me along the way has been tremendously valuable.

  • Q: Describe your experience as a Financial Services Institute Research Analyst.

    A: As part of our rotation, we participated in the steps that lead up to the publication of PwC’s viewpoints and whitepapers. It’s a great break from auditing, and we work with people from across the country. There’s flexibility and I‘ve been able to balance my personal life with my work commitments.
