Q&A

  • Q: Describe your internship in New York with Assurance.

A: It was certainly an adventure. The internship was my first exposure to New York, and it was great. There were around twenty other interns training together and we hung out all summer. My experience inspired me to choose the New York office when I became a full-time employee.

  • Q: What do you think has had the biggest impact on your career development to date?

A: I would say the biggest impact professionally in my career development has been the informal coaching and the advocates I've had at the firm. I have received a lot of guidance here, and I highly value the perspective of someone that is a few years down the road into their career.

  • Q: If you could choose one experience that encapsulates the culture at PwC, what would it be?

A: Before I got married, I was talking to my Senior Manager at the time about my wedding and I asked her when she thought would be the best time for my wife and I to get married. She just laughed at me and said, “You go and get married whenever you want and we’ll work around it.” I talked to everyone about it and they were all so supportive and understanding.

  • Q: What do you enjoy outside of work?

A: My wife and I love going to Broadway shows. We also love jumping off the train at a random station and just walking around in a new neighborhood. We explore in Brooklyn or Queens for a day and just go where it takes us. We've had some really great experiences doing that.
