Corazon immigrated to the United States from Kenya in 1998. She participated in PwC’s Elevate program in 2009, and interned the following year with the firm. After her graduation from Rutgers, she started full-time with Industry Services within PwC’s Tax practice.

  • Q: How was your experience with Elevate?

    A: I participated in New York Metro's Elevate program and it was truly my first introduction to the firm. It was one of the biggest steps in my career because from there I was able to intern with PwC and eventually landed a full-time position.

  • Q: Have the professional relationships you have formed at PwC impacted your career?

    A: I have had guidance and support from PwC, even before I participated in Elevate. The bonds I formed with my recruiters and those I interned for have lasted to this day.

  • Q: Has PwC helped you grow as a person?

    A: I have grown so much since my immigration to the United States, and PwC has helped me tremendously. PwC has allowed me to grow as a person as well as a leader, in part because of the exposure to new people, different work styles, and different ways of thinking.
