Interview process

 

During our recruiting process, you’ll get to know more about us, and we’ll get to know more about you. We’ll discuss your vision for your career path and the ways you can apply your academic and professional experiences to help our clients address interesting and complex business issues and opportunities.

Among our many areas of deep industry expertise, there are opportunities to pursue your passions in the areas that best align with your background, strengths and future career goals. Becoming a consultant at PwC allows you to develop deeper expertise in your area of focus and establish yourself as a leader in your practice, while still giving you many options to broaden your experience in other areas.

You will initially apply to one of our broad industry areas but through our interview and offer process MBAs are hired into a competency within those industries. This structure allows us to deliver valuable solutions to our clients. Our process is simple:

  • Application: MBA students will apply to a Strategy& or combined Management Consulting, Risk Consulting, Technology Consulting job posting and will be asked to rank both their Vertical preference and Horizontal preference (Management/Risk/Technology only).
  • On-campus interviews: 
    Management/Risk/Technology - Students take part in two 45 minute behavioral/situational interviews on campus to assess overall fit and competency strengths. Your school recruiter will be your primary point of contact for on campus interviews. 

    Strategy& - Students take part in two 45 minute interviews on campus. Each interview consists of a behavioral assessment and a case assessment. Your school recruiter will be your primary point of contact for on campus interviews.
  • In office interviews:
    Management/Risk/Technology – In office interviews consist of three 45 minute interviews - two behavioral and one case interview. You will have a business recruiter as a primary point of contact throughout this final round of the interview process. 

    Strategy& – In office interviews consist of two 45 minute interviews - a behavioral assessment and a case assessment. You will have a business recruiter as a primary point of contact throughout this final round of the interview process.
  • What to expect after the interview: We aim to provide you with an offer decision within one week of final round interview.
