Daryl Walcroft is a civil engineer with over 21 years of program management, project controls, program governance, dispute analysis, project technology and heavy construction project experience on a variety of major capital projects, programs and portfolio's. He has extensive experience advising both owner organizations and contractors undertaking major construction and engineering projects including transportation systems, power plants, oil refineries, buildings, bridges, hospitals, pipelines and stadia.
He has advised clients in the environmental, construction, energy and utilities sectors with the design and implementation of project and program control systems and has considerable experience performing delay and disruption analysis, quantum analysis, project controls implementation, scheduling, project management, site inspection and developing information systems.
He has an advanced knowledge of the design, optimization and implementation of many project control systems and techniques including the Oracle Primavera Suite and is a specialist at designing and applying quantitative risk analysis models, critical path analysis, schedule analytics and the use of earned value techniques. He is experienced at developing and applying various forms of delay, disruption and quantum analysis techniques including collapsed as-built, impacted as-planned, windows analysis, measured mile and earned value.
Daryl has provided technical support and presented findings in formal proceedings to support contractors and project owners in regulatory proceedings, arbitration, adjudication, mediation and negotiations.
Prior to joining PwC, Daryl worked for a civil engineering contractor, an engineering design consultancy and a US project management firm. His global experience has been developed working for clients in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the US.
