Our focus on audit quality

At a glance

Our third annual audit quality report continues to advance our goal of being transparent about how we deliver on our commitment to perform high-quality audits.

Our focus on audit quality, PwC's third annual audit quality report, describes the actions we have taken, and continue to take, in support of our commitment to perform high-quality audits on a sustained basis - our highest priority.

Our 2013 report represents another important step along our journey to increase our transparency and provide meaningful information to our stakeholders, who have expressed an increasing interest in how we promote sustained audit quality. As a result, our 2013 report differs from our 2012 report including:

  • New Transparency Data Points, which are measures intended to provide greater insight into our audit practice
  • An expanded discussion about the nature of our recent internal and external inspection results
  • An expanded discussion about our philosophy on accountability for audit quality and personal and firm independence matters.

We hope you find the report to be informative, and we welcome your feedback.
