Chuck has 23 years of experience providing audit and audit-related services to large global companies engaged in energy and services businesses. His experience includes audits of multinational public company consolidated financial statements, shared service centers, mergers and acquisitions, buy-side due-diligence, carve-out audits, initial public offerings, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting matters and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations.
Chuck is completing his fifth year of an assignment in Houston. In addition to serving as the Supporting Partner for the ExxonMobil Upstream and Chemical Segments since 2008, he has significant signing partner responsibilities of his own. Since 2009, he has been the Global Engagement Partner for Nabors Industries Limited, the world’s largest land drilling company. He served as the Global Engagement Partner for Cabot Oil and Gas Company from 2009 to 2013. Both Nabors and Cabot are publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
Chuck is currently serving as the firm’s US Energy Sector Assurance Leader where he is responsible for the $180 million annual audit practice.
Chuck served as the Supporting Partner for Chevron Corporation where he implemented the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) audit requirements and integrated the audit of Unocal Corporation.
Chuck completed a secondment in Beijing where he served PetroChina (IFRS) and Royal Dutch Shell (IFRS).
Chuck served one year on the Firm’s Board of Partners Nominating Committee and two years on PwC’s Partnership Admission Committee.
