Mike Kubena

Mike Kubena is CEO PwC Central & Eastern Europe.

He has been with PwC for over 25 years. Mike started his career in PwC in the USA in 1987, as tax consultant. Prior to his appointment as CEO for Central and Eastern Europe, Mike had lead the firm’s practice in Russia for 3 years and PwC Tax and Legal services in Russia before that. As a Tax Partner, Mike has worked on a broad range of projects including: international tax structuring to improve tax efficiency and transparency, tax planning for capital raising in international debt markets, due diligence during asset acquisitions/dispositions, tax dispute resolution, restructuring, tax accounting, and domestic tax planning strategies. Mike spent 17 years in Russia serving clients in the energy and utilities sector.

Mike was born in San Antonio, Texas, and graduated from the Trinity University there, and received a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification in 1988.
