The Prepared Parent was designed by PwC as a conversation starter—to make "parenting" a word that people are comfortable using in the workplace, and to help new parents feel more "connected". We created this book not only for our current PricewaterhouseCoopers partners and staff who have children, but also for younger, single people, prospective employees, and you—our alum—who need to know that PwC is a place where it is possible to have both a challenging, meaningful career as well as a personal life.

Director of our Firm’s Center for an Inclusive Workplace, Jennifer W. Allyn, says, "What’s so important about the book is that it celebrates parenting". This booklet is designed to look at parenting at PwC from a very personal and "holistic" perspective. The innovative design includes real-life snapshots provided by PwC partners and staff of their children.
