Martyn Curragh is PwC’s Chief Financial Officer, providing the firm with an objective review of its performance as well as insight into its growth.
Previously, he served as PwC's U.S. Deals leader and has distinguished himself as a seasoned deal specialist with extensive experience in global and cross border deals, serving private equity and corporate clients in the U.S. and around the world. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in transactions aggregating over $30 billion across a diverse group of industry sectors including media and publishing, consumer products and retail, industrial products, pharmaceuticals, and aerospace and defense contracting. He also specializes in a broad range of M&A-related services including: industry/market assessments, buy side due diligence, divestiture services, accounting and tax structuring and post merger integration.
As head of the firm's deals practice, he leads over 1,000 experienced professionals who advise clients throughout the entire lifecycle of a transaction, providing due diligence and advice on accounting and financial reporting and valuations, M&A strategy and integration, capital raising, restructuring and divestitures options. He has been with PwC for over 20 years, working in both the U.K. and U.S. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and received his undergraduate degree in economics from the Queen's University of Belfast, Northern Ireland.
