Mark Mendola is the firm's US Tax Leader and a Vice Chairman. In this role Mark is a member of the US Leadership Team and the Global Tax Leadership Team. He is also responsible for the network of Tax practices across the Americas, including Canada, Mexico, and South America.
Mark joined PwC in the Detroit Tax practice in 1986. He was admitted as a partner in 1998. Since his admission, Mark has held several leadership positions including the managing partner of the Detroit office and the Automotive sector leader, both in the US and globally. Beginning in 2007, Mark served as the Tax Leader of PwC Canada and then in 2009 assumed the position of Managing Partner of the US Tax practice.
During his time with the firm, Mark has advised a wide range of large multinational companies across a variety of industries, including automotive, industrial products, and retail and consumer products.
Mark is a graduate of Oakland University and received his MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Mark and his wife have three children.
