Partner Affairs Leader and Chief Administrative Officer
John Carter is the firm's Partner Affairs Leader and Chief Administrative Officer. John joined the firm in 1981 and was admitted as a partner in 1993, having spent his career in client service primarily on large, multi-national consumer products companies.
His prior roles with the firm include Assurance Human Resources Leader for both the US and European firms of PwC, and a member of the firm’s Assurance Global Leadership team as the Global Assurance Human Capital Leader and the US Assurance Human Capital Leader. In 2001 he was named Partner Affairs Leader of the US firm and was named the firm's Chief Administrative Officer in 2006.
John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants. John also has a New York CPA license. He is a member of the President’s Council at the University of Illinois and served as a member of the University of Illinois Business Advisory Council, as well as on the Board of the University of Illinois Commerce Alumni Association.
John received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois and his MBA from the University of Chicago. He currently resides in New York City.
