PwC’s Financial Literacy Award recognizes educators who are helping their students develop responsible financial behaviors by prioritizing financial literacy curricula in our nation’s classrooms. We invited teachers to submit a 1-3 minute video demonstrating how they brought financial education to life in the classroom using activities such as PwC’s financial literacy curriculum, the mobile app JA Build Your FutureTM or ideas learned from a PwC-KWHS Seminar for High School Educators on Business and Financial Responsibility and tying the lessons to real-world application.
PwC received a number of outstanding entries, each of which demonstrated an inspiring commitment to teaching financial literacy in the classroom. Although we were impressed by all of the submissions, three were judged to have best met the criteria of the contest. View the winning submission and honorable mentions below.
