In partnership with Newcastle University and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), we've created a degree course (BA (Honours) in Business Accounting and Finance) that offers your career the flying start it deserves.
This innovative and specially designed four-year degree programme combines the study of business, accounting and finance with paid work placements at PwC. This integrated approach means that if you're a truly focused business student, it's the only choice to secure an accelerated route to qualifying as a Chartered Accountant.

The selection process for this opportunity fits around the normal university application and selection procedure. It runs as follows, with a successful performance at each stage seeing you move on to the next.
- Step 1: Complete and submit a UCAS form (quoting course code NN14)
- Step 2: On invitation, complete a supplementary application form
- Step 3: On invitation, attend a University open day and Assessment Centre
- Step 4: Receive feedback
- Step 5: Receive formal notification of the outcome of your application via UCAS
The open day and Selection Centre normally take place over the course of two days at Newcastle University. On the afternoon of the first day, you'll be able to look around the university and meet staff and students. The following morning, you will be interviewed and asked to complete a number of assessment tasks.
Throughout the two days, you'll have the opportunity to ask all the questions you want. After all, it's important that you get a good feel for what the programme is about and find out if Newcastle is the place for you - it could be your home for the next four years.
