Pay & Benefits

You may not be surprised to learn that the potential rewards for working at PwC are among the best.

Your reward package on joining includes:

  • Base pay: designed to be market competitive
  • 25 days' standard holiday per year
  • Choices allowance: your benefit funding from PwC that is in addition to your base pay

You can also request to join the Group Personal Pension and benefit from valuable matched funding of up to 2% base pay from PwC from the day you start work.

Your Choices allowance is designed to provide you with a competitive package of benefits and will increase on promotion giving you more flexibility to request the benefits you wish.

There are certain benefits you will receive as standard and PwC will use your Choices allowance to provide them. These benefits are designed to provide you and your family with a minimum level of protection. Any balance is completely flexible.

Once a year you will have the opportunity to review the benefits you receive from PwC and request changes.

You will be able to use your Choices allowance and, if you choose to, some of your base pay to request increased benefit cover or other benefits within the Choices scheme. In addition, you will be able to trade up or trade down your standard holiday entitlement of 25 days per year by up to 5 days. (The maximum number of days you can take in any one holiday year is 30.) That way, the Choices benefits you receive throughout your career with PwC can remain valuable and relevant to your lifestyle.

On promotion to manager (or after five years' service) you will also receive 4% basic pension funding as part of your Choices allowance and be able to benefit from additional matched funding from PwC. This ranges from 2 - 15% of base pay, depending on your grade and length of service.
